Drawing power above the sanctioned load (Maximum demand) not only overloads the systems like overhead lines, transformers and circuit breakers, resulting in diminished life/premature failure of the equipment but also attracts penalty by the Electricity supplying agency.

It is therefore essential to continuously monitor the current load in real time drawn by the downstream equipment and display the data at appropriate locations so that men in charge managing the load have real time information and also to have an in-built system to trip the circuit drawing overload.

Furthermore the system should be equipped to send SMS alerts to registered mobile numbers in case the power consumption/current drawn exceeds a pre-determined level/set value and at same time instantly trip the circuit breaker.

The system is designed to be a universal solution that can be connected to 3.3KV, 6.6KV,11KV, 33KV and 132KV transformers. The current trip setting can be configured from 0 Amps to 255 Amps. In case the current setting of more than 255 Amps is required it can be done easily with minor changes in the existing hardware at a minor additional cost.
